Brainspotting

What is Brainspotting?

As a brain‑body relational therapy, Brainspotting is a focused, powerful approach that locates, processes, and releases core neurophysiological sources of emotional and physical pain and the unhelpful coping patterns that can follow trauma or intense emotional experience. It helps clients use the healthy, rational knowledge they already have to rework traumatic memories and the negative beliefs linked to them.

Developed by Dr. David Grand, Brainspotting integrates brain‑based approaches with the therapeutic relationship, drawing on elements of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Somatic Experiencing. Many clients experience rapid, lasting improvements in performance, emotional regulation, and overall well‑being.A Brain Body Approach for Deep Healing and Wellness
