What typically happens at a counseling session?

Every therapist is different, but a typical session looks like this: the first appointment is an opportunity for you to describe what’s been happening in your life and to share your goals for therapy.

How long does a therapy session last?

The typical therapy session lasts 50 minutes; however some therapists opt to use 60 minute sessions or longer depending on the type of therapy used.

Does therapy take place in the office or through telehealth?

All of our therapists are offering in person and telehealth sessions at the present time.

How much does therapy cost?

Each therapists sets their own rates. Our licensed therapist range from $140 - 160 per session.

Do you accept insurance?

Each therapists decides if and what insurances they accept. Most of our therapists are out of network and do not bill insurances but are happy to provide a superbill which can be sent to your insurance for partial reimbursement.

How long does therapy last?

The length of therapy depends on the goals of the client. Whether it is 3 months, 6 months or longer will depend upon you and your therapist. The troubled areas in your life did not happen overnight and will not resolve overnight. Be assured our therapists have your best interest in mind and use some of the latest brain based methods shown to resolve matters quicker than traditional methods.
